 Day three of my Manila trip and the highlight as well. Saturday was the day of the Max International Anniversary party at SMX Convention Center beside MOA. So since it was a business/party I chose to wear something smart casual. What I wore was a black romper and a draped vest. When I bought that black romper, I thought if you wear it, it would be uncomfortable and hot and surprisingly it wasn't. It was super comfy because its material is made of cotton plus it blended well with the draped vest that is super light as well. But then the lightness of the clothing paid off when I entered SMX since the aircon was in full blast, and yea, I felt really cold inside. Interlude: I also dropped by the Penshoppe Fashion Week too! Hahaha! Not really, the hall where our party was held was just beside the hall where the Penshoppe event was. I promised myself to change my fashion for this coming school year. Well, I'm changing for a number of reasons: one is because I don't wanna be an attraction in our campus, second is I don't wanna give an impression to people that makes them feel intimidated and third is because I wanna try a laid-back chic fashion for the whole of first semester. As much as I want to bring out the stylist in me, I have to hold back my creative outfits because it's not fit for school. The only remedy I have is to innovate my fashion but still with a touch of vintage (which has always been a part of my daily outfit). Ethnic Work by chichonheels featuring a bodycon skirt I'm back again stylin at Polyvore and I cam up with this look. This look is suited for a corporate-fashinista look. If yu work on an office and find the black and white combination a bit dull and boring already why not try this look? It's young and fresh but still has that elegant and formal touch when you pair it with that white or even black jacket. Then to finish up the look, you don't need to over crowd it by adding too much jewelry. What I did to highlight the look is I added a chunky necklace and a stud earring both of the same shade and color. Simple and meek which also neutralized the bright color of the pink and orange bag. What's special about this look is the ethnic-themed bustier. I know this kinda looked off-beat here, but for me this kinda add attraction to the whole outfit. It has added spice in it. Don't you think ? :)
