  Finally! Another genuine apology to you guys for being an irresponsible blogger again. I've been planning to post this a long time ago, but I was too lazy and I was caught up with reading Fifty Shades of Grey and miraculously finish a 514-page book in just three days! Well, it should have been only two but my eyes couldn't bear it any longer. List, oh, List ( just applying something I've learned from reading Poetry today that List, oh, List is another way of signalling the readers that you are heading in another point of view regarding a subject matter. Hahaha!) let's get back to this outfit post.
 This was shoot two weeks ago, gettin ready for my 18th birthday but then it was intentionally done for this beloved blog of mine. I'm trying to be a dedicated fashion blogger here. :)) So we had a funshoot at Fort San Pedro in Cebu with my classmate and friend Clyde Inso Chan. It was fun working with this guy because aside from it's the first time to shoot with him but his work ethics and professionalism is way beyond comparison. I haven't met yet someone who is as creative and spontaneous as him. He asked me to climb on a tree and sit on one of its branch, imagine my huge and bold leap to agree with this proposition
But nevertheless, climbing a tree for the first time is priceless and so is sitting on it's branch. The dress I worse is very cooperative anyway, with it's flow-y type of cloth and was very comfortable through our the shoot. The ruffle detail it contains, adds volume but doesn't make you look fat. At first, I thought I'm gonna look like a mother in this one but turns out to look like exactly the opposite.
 The designs on the shoulder and the lace detail on the chest part is very classical and feminine. It brings out the lady in you at the same time make you feel like a child again. Ruffle dresses are timeless, and it's improved by the new generation of Cavalli, Dolce and Gabanna and other high-end fashion designers by adding modern touches in it.

A short trivia about Ruffle dresses; it was popularized in Spain because it was inspired mostly from Flamenco dancers and later on cut out and designed for casual wears. Ruffles are a social status symbol, even men wore this before topped by some coats because it distinguishes them from the commoners, during the 60's. Quite insteresting, isn't it? After knowing a tiny bit of information about these ruffle dresses, would you consider wearing one? :)

 Day three of my Manila trip and the highlight as well. Saturday was the day of the Max International Anniversary party at SMX Convention Center beside MOA. So since it was a business/party I chose to wear something smart casual. What I wore was a black romper and a draped vest. When I bought that black romper, I thought if you wear it, it would be uncomfortable and hot and surprisingly it wasn't. It was super comfy because its material is made of cotton plus it blended well with the draped vest that is super light as well. But then the lightness of the clothing paid off when I entered SMX since the aircon was in full blast, and yea, I felt really cold inside. Interlude: I also dropped by the Penshoppe Fashion Week too! Hahaha! Not really, the hall where our party was held was just beside the hall where the Penshoppe event was. I promised myself to change my fashion for this coming school year. Well, I'm changing for a number of reasons: one is because I don't wanna be an attraction in our campus, second is I don't wanna give an impression to people that makes them feel intimidated and third is because I wanna try a laid-back chic fashion for the whole of first semester. As much as I want to bring out the stylist in me, I have to hold back my creative outfits because it's not fit for school. The only remedy I have is to innovate my fashion but still with a touch of vintage (which has always been a part of my daily outfit). This time I opted for much simpler ones aside from my lazy days outfits that consist a simple shirt, jeans and a flat shoes or a my pair of vans. Like the Androgyny looks,

Friday Night by chichonheels featuring a peter pan blouse Black and Gold. These two colors shine bright on a friday night out, don't you think? If you wanna go clubbing with your friends, then this one fits perfectly. It's chic and it's comfy. The Gold-colored jeans really intensifies the whole outfit, but the chiffon peter-pan collared top doesn't do any less also. And adding the Louboutin's spikey pumps, you just nailed down the outfit. To top it off just add some goldish and blackish accessories and of course a simple tote bag that would make you look like a new-yorker walking around 5th avenue. Don't forget the make up also, make it light on the eyes and add a dash of red lipstick for color. All I know is that one day, I'm gonna be in this outfit. That's it. No fussin. Love it or not. :)
